What would a battery save your site?
Four numbers about your site, three battery sizes, a year of real German electricity prices. See what each battery could save and how fast it pays for itself.

These are estimates, not an offer. They assume a typical load profile for your type of site, real German market prices from October 2025 to October 2026 and a battery run at its best. Your result depends on your load profile, grid tariff and supply contract.

% of site peak · € per kWh of battery a year · € per kW a year · € per kWh a year · € per kWh a year
Each figure is what our dispatch software earned for this type of site over October 2025 to October 2026, replaying every quarter-hour of real German day-ahead prices and aFRR balancing prices, with solar from the EU's PVGIS database. Intraday and aFRR activation are added from published benchmarks (see below). Tested against a live battery, the same software came within 1% of what that battery actually earned.

- Real prices. Every quarter-hour of the German day-ahead and intraday markets from October 2025 to October 2026, plus the prices paid for balancing capacity (aFRR) over the same year.
- Our own software. The same optimizer that runs our customers' batteries replayed that year for four typical site types, with and without solar, and decided every charge and discharge.
- Real solar. Solar output from the EU's PVGIS database for central Germany (1065 kWh per kWp a year).
- Two lines come from published benchmarks. Public data has no intraday order book, so intraday trading is counted as 25% on top of the trading battery's day-ahead earnings (the low end of the 23 to 90% suena measured for German batteries in October 2025), and aFRR activation as 50% on top of the capacity fee (suena measured about 62%).
- The best case. The battery knew each day's prices, load and solar in advance. Real operation forecasts them, so your actual result can be lower.
- Payback uses the battery price you enter (€300 per kWh installed unless you change it), imports carrying €60/MWh of grid fees and levies, and a spot-priced supply contract.
- Checked against reality. Replaying 39 days of one of our live batteries, the software's result came within 1% of what that battery actually earned.
